About this fabric

This 100% polyester velvet is 138cm wide and graded for domestic upholstery. In this colourway, pale mineral tones are punctuated by blush, coral, muted green and blue-grey marks, creating a cool, washed palette rather than a single dominant hue. The irregular painterly pattern shifts between hazy areas and sharper horizontal strokes, while the velvet format gives the surface a soft, light-catching quality. It is machine washable and rated for domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this cool, chalky colourway on an armchair, headboard or sofa where its blush and blue-grey accents can sit alongside pale timber, soft grey or muted sage furnishings. Keep surrounding pieces quiet to let the layered painterly marks provide the visual movement.

A softly painterly multi-coloured velvet that brings gentle depth to domestic seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
