About this fabric

This 100% polyester velvet combines a dark, atmospheric base with tightly packed flowers, curling stems and leafy forms in ivory, taupe, muted pink, olive, teal and rusty red. The layered colouring reads gently weathered rather than brightly saturated, allowing the charcoal ground to keep the overall effect grounded and deep. At 138cm wide, it is made for domestic upholstery and carries a Domestic upholstery grade. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this charcoal-led colourway on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional sofa where its faded botanical tones can be balanced with plain ivory, warm taupe or olive textiles. Its dark ground also works well with aged timber and softly brushed brass.
