About this fabric

The design is built from distressed, brush-like blocks and vertical marks, with teal flashes standing out against the ivory base and charcoal-grey detailing. Its softly textured velvet surface gives the pale ground visual depth, while the uneven pattern keeps the overall look informal rather than pristine. Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide fabric is a domestic-grade upholstery velvet. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this cool ivory, teal and charcoal colourway on an occasional chair, headboard or statement sofa where its painterly contrast can be seen clearly. Echo the teal in cushions or artwork, and balance the pale ground with charcoal or weathered grey furnishings.

Pair the ivory and charcoal ground with teal accents for a fresh, graphic upholstery scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
