About this fabric

The charcoal tone sits between graphite and soft black, while the fine chenille texture catches the light with restrained shifts rather than a pronounced sheen. Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide fabric is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, offering practical aftercare for everyday seating. ROM4191 has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool, deep charcoal on a tailored sofa or armchair where its dark tonal depth can anchor pale timber, concrete, brushed metal or warm neutral furnishings. It also works well as a calm base for stronger accent colours and textured cushions.
