About this fabric

This 100% polyester chenille is 138cm wide and suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The colour sits between muted navy and charcoal, reading cool and understated rather than bright or saturated. A fine, compact weave creates a gently granular surface, with the changing direction of the pile catching the light in slightly lighter and darker blue-grey flecks. ROM4188 is machine washable, with domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy that can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Pair the cool slate-blue tone with pale grey, chalky white or warm timber for a balanced scheme. It is particularly effective on sofas, dining chairs or occasional seating where its dark colour and fine chenille texture can add depth without a visible pattern.
