Venezia FabricVEN3729

VEN3729 combines a warm cream ground with tightly drawn, angular maze lines in charcoal, grey and ochre. The contrasting pathways give this velvet a crisp, architectural appearance while its textured surface adds visual depth.

About this fabric

This velvet is composed of 49% viscose, 49% polyester and 2% cotton, with a 138cm width. The large-scale labyrinth motif is built from squared, interlocking tracks, with dark charcoal and blue-grey accents set against cream and punctuated by muted ochre. The close linear pattern reads clearly across the swatch, while the velvet texture softens the graphic geometry and catches the light across the raised surface. VEN3729 is graded for contract and domestic upholstery, with professional aftercare; it has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use VEN3729 on a tailored armchair, headboard or statement sofa where its warm cream base can brighten the scheme without losing structure. Repeat the charcoal and ochre details through plain cushions, painted joinery or dark wood for a considered, architectural room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
