Ladywell Duck Egg

Misc Fabric

Ladywell Duck Egg has a cool duck-egg ground lifted by a pale damask motif with a softly worn look. The large repeating medallions read crisp against the blue-green background, giving the design a calm, tailored feel.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is 140cm wide and made from 50% Poly, 43% Cot and 7% Linen, with a 39.5cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat. The surface shows a classic woven damask pattern in chalky ivory, set over a muted duck-egg teal ground that feels airy rather than saturated. The contrast is gentle, so the ornate motif remains decorative without becoming dark or formal. With no performance features noted and care marked NQT1<, it is best considered a decorative fabric with a refined, versatile handle.

How to use it

Use this duck-egg damask on a statement armchair, window seat or full-length curtains where the pale ground can brighten the room. It pairs especially well with painted whites, weathered oak and other cool blue-green accents.

The pale blue-green ground keeps the ornate damask feeling fresh rather than heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
