Sumi Linen/Copper

Colour 1 Fabrics FabricHAF0438-01

Sumi Linen/Copper pairs a softly textured cream ground with angular copper lines that interlock across the surface. The warm, lightly weathered copper catches the light against the quieter linen-toned base.

About this fabric

This 300 gsm woven fabric has a 139 cm usable width, making it a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. Its large, irregular geometric pattern is defined by repeated angular outlines, with a vertical repeat of 62.8 cm and a horizontal repeat of 69.1 cm. Fine surface texture remains visible in the pale ground, while the muted copper lines add warmth without becoming overly saturated. The construction is listed at 19.5 threads per cm and is supplied in a standard 60 m length.

How to use it

Use Sumi Linen/Copper to add graphic definition to a cream, sand or warm grey scheme, where its copper lines can echo timber, bronze or terracotta accents. It would suit a statement chair, occasional upholstery or full-length curtains that retain the pattern's structured rhythm.

The warm cream ground and muted copper geometry bring graphic structure to upholstery or softly tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
