Blocks Black Earth/Diffused Light uses tightly packed stepped blocks to create a small-scale, almost three-dimensional check. Its charcoal and earthy taupe tones are interrupted by pale diffused-light squares, giving the surface depth without a bright or saturated colour hit.

About this fabric

The tessellated pattern shifts between dark charcoal, warm earth-brown taupe and soft grey-white, so the design reads as a layered cube effect rather than a flat grid. The close-set 4.5cm horizontal and 5cm vertical repeat keeps the geometry lively while remaining suitable for larger upholstered surfaces. At 731gsm with 170 threads per cm, this is a substantial woven cloth with a visibly dense, textured face. The 141cm usable width provides practical coverage for upholstery applications.

How to use it

Pair this colourway with warm timber, smoked metal and chalky stone to draw out its earthy charcoal depth. On a sofa, headboard or occasional chair, the compact geometric repeat adds tailored structure while the pale squares keep the overall effect balanced.
