Azul Rust/Navy/Nordic

Colour 3 Fabrics FabricHAF0148-02

Azul Rust/Navy/Nordic combines narrow vertical columns of angular triangles in rust, navy, pale Nordic blue and warm cream. The close-set geometry gives the swatch a rhythmic, tailored appearance, with the rust bands adding a warmer note to its otherwise cool palette.

About this fabric

Woven at 340gsm with 104 threads per centimetre, this substantial Harlequin fabric has a defined surface suited to upholstery. Its 132cm usable width is arranged around a 6.5cm vertical pattern repeat and a 33cm horizontal repeat, keeping the pointed motifs neatly aligned across the cloth. In this colourway, deep navy and blue-grey columns alternate with cream grounds, while burnt rust-orange shapes bring contrast and visual warmth. The repeated triangular forms read as crisp from a distance, with the tightly woven texture softening their edges at close range.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a structured armchair, dining seat or occasional ottoman where the rust can echo timber and leather tones. Pair it with chalky neutrals and dark navy accents to bring out the fabric’s cool Nordic depth without losing its graphic character.

A structured geometric upholstery fabric that brings cool Nordic blues into sharper focus with warm rust accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
