About this fabric

This substantial 731gsm textile features alternating cornflower-blue and near-black earthy blocks, creating a high-contrast checker effect with a cool, slightly softened tone. The compact geometric repeat measures 5cm vertically by 4.5cm horizontally, keeping the pattern crisp and evenly paced across the fabric. With a 141cm usable width and a standard 25m length, it is suited to upholstery cutting. Its 170 threads-per-cm construction gives the surface a dense woven appearance, with subtle tonal variation visible within the blue blocks.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-and-black colourway on a structured armchair, banquette or headboard where its compact grid can act as a tailored focal point. Balance the strong contrast with pale, chalky walls and warm timber accents.

Use the cool cornflower-blue and black-earth grid to bring crisp graphic definition to tailored upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
