Aucuba Embroidery Paprika/Ochre brings lively, brush-drawn botanical sprays to an ivory ground. Paprika, ochre, charcoal and dusty taupe marks create a warm, airy colourway with plenty of light space between motifs.

About this fabric

The ivory background is scattered with radiating floral or seed-head forms, each built from fine directional lines and small dark centres. Paprika accents add a soft terracotta warmth, while ochre and charcoal strokes give the design contrast without making it feel heavy. At 320 gsm and 27 threads per cm, this is a substantial mid-weight fabric suitable for both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeat measures 61 cm vertically by 63 cm horizontally, with a 126 cm usable width for considered placement across a project.

How to use it

Use this warm paprika and ochre colourway on an occasional chair, headboard or relaxed curtain, with ivory walls, pale timber and taupe or charcoal accents to pick up the smaller drawn lines.

Pair the warm paprika and ochre sprays with ivory, natural timber and soft taupe upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
