About this fabric

Woven in 77% viscose and 23% linen, this fabric has a smooth, lightly textured handle that suits both drapery and upholstery use. The 140 cm usable width and 20,000 Martindale make it a practical decorative textile for domestic interiors, while it is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. Its large 69 cm horizontal and 60 cm vertical repeat supports the sweeping branch design seen here, where cool delft, slate and ink-blue leaves create a fresh, layered look. The overall effect is clean and tailored rather than heavy, with the motif reading especially well on the soft ivory ground.

How to use it

Use this delft colourway on statement curtains, occasional chairs or cushions where its crisp blue pattern can bring structure to a room. It works particularly well with white-painted joinery, pale oak and brushed nickel for a bright, coastal-leaning scheme.

Pair with pale woods and crisp neutrals to let the delft blue foliage stay fresh and tailored.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
