About this fabric

Jardine Sylvan Delft Wavy is woven in 77% viscose and 23% linen, giving the cloth a fluid handle with a naturally textured surface. The 140cm usable width and 20,000 Martindale make it practical for general domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories, and it is treatable for FR use in both curtains and seating. Visually, the fabric reads as a pale, creamy ground with layered foliage in Delft blue, soft sage, and greyed ink tones, so the pattern feels airy rather than heavy. The large repeat of 69cm horizontal by 60cm vertical supports the sweeping botanical scale and gives the design a relaxed, decorative presence.

How to use it

Use it on occasional chairs, loose covers, or full-length curtains where the soft blue and green layers can sit against chalky whites, oak, or pale painted joinery. It works especially well in calm rooms that need pattern without losing a light, coastal feel.

Layer with pale linens and painted woods to let the cool blue foliage stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
