Hartland Indigo

SS26 Images - Botanical Archive, Terrana & Hartland Fabric

Hartland Indigo is a finely striped fabric with a cool, powdery blue look that reads clean and tailored rather than bold. The narrow vertical lines give it a quietly disciplined rhythm across the cloth.

About this fabric

Woven in 50% cotton and 50% polyester, Hartland Indigo has a neat, balanced handle that suits its crisp stripe effect. The 2cm horizontal repeat creates a slender, regular pinstripe, while the 138cm usable width makes it practical for made-to-measure work. With a 30,000 Martindale rub test and heavy domestic upholstery grade, it is robust enough for seating, yet it is also treatable for FR drapery and upholstery. The blue ground is softened by a pale, airy contrast, giving the fabric a muted indigo character that feels fresh and contemporary. Dry clean only.

How to use it

Use Hartland Indigo on a tailored armchair, cushion set or relaxed curtains where the fine stripe can add structure without heaviness. Its cool indigo note pairs especially well with pale oak, chalk white and brushed nickel finishes.

A crisp, tailored stripe that works neatly on both upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
