About this colour

At #E1DBC6, this shade reads warm and light, with enough beige to feel settled and just enough green to keep it from going yellow or flat. On a wall it lifts the room without feeling bright, so it can open up smaller spaces while still giving them a calm, grounded look. In north-facing light it will appear a little cooler and more muted, bringing out the stone side of the colour. In south-facing rooms it turns warmer and more creamy, working well beside oak, walnut, linen, and muted green or brown upholstery.

How to use it

It suits sitting rooms, hallways and bedrooms where you want a quiet backdrop for upholstered pieces and layered curtains. Use it with pale timber joinery, aged brass, and natural-textured seating for a restrained, traditional look.

A soft warm neutral on the wall that stays gentle and easy to place beside woodwork and patterned upholstery.

Pairs well with

Green Stone - Light is a wall colour, so these are the cloths that sit against it: one of them on the curtains, the paint behind. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
