About this fabric

The colourway is led by a rich curcuma yellow, softened by creamy ivory yarns and punctuated with dark brown to near-black flecks. Uneven horizontal bands run across the cloth, with small variations in yarn thickness that create a pronounced nubby surface. The dense-looking weave and substantial texture make this textile particularly well suited to upholstery, where its earthy contrast can add depth without relying on a formal motif. In changing light, the ochre threads catch warmly against the lighter yarns while the dark accents sharpen the overall pattern.

How to use it

Use this warm turmeric colourway on an occasional chair, footstool or compact sofa, pairing it with natural timber, dark brown leather and quiet cream walls. Its broken horizontal texture also works well as a grounding accent among plain linen and woven accessories.

A robust, tactile weave that brings warm ochre depth and lively horizontal texture to upholstered pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
