Tay Neptune

Balvenie FabricLF2357FR

Tay Neptune has a subdued aqua-green ground, softened by fine olive, beige and blue-grey flecks across its tightly woven surface. The small broken texture gives the colour a quietly variegated, tactile appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% pure new wool, Tay Neptune is approximately 137cm wide and specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. Its dense, fine-scale weave has a subtle herringbone-like movement, with cool aqua threads interlaced with warmer khaki and sandy notes. The result is a balanced Neptune shade that reads muted and natural, with gentle depth as the light moves across the cloth. It is graded for general domestic upholstery and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Tay Neptune to bring a cool, softened aqua-green note to a reading chair, sofa or simple curtain scheme. Pair it with warm timber, natural linens and sandy neutrals to draw out the weave’s olive and beige flecks.

A dense woollen weave with a softly mottled aqua-green tone for coordinated curtains and upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
