Tay Seagrass

Balvenie FabricLF2357FR

Tay Seagrass is a quiet, finely woven aqua-green cloth with a subtle seagrass-like mix of cool blue-green, sage and pale straw tones. Its close texture gives the plain surface gentle depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% Pure New Wool, Tay Seagrass is supplied at approximately 137cm wide and is suitable for curtains and fixed upholstery. The surface appears as a small, even weave, with aqua and muted green threads interlaced with warm straw-coloured flecks. This restrained contrast keeps the colourway fresh and cool while adding a softly weathered, natural character. It is graded for General Domestic upholstery and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Tay Seagrass on a relaxed armchair, dining seat or fixed bench where its cool aqua-green tone can sit alongside pale timber, linen and warm neutral walls. As curtains, it will bring a lightly textured wash of colour without introducing a strong pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
