About this fabric

Lana Carmine is a plain, closely woven textile with a softly mottled surface visible across the swatch, rather than a printed motif. Its colour sits between burgundy and red: a deep, muted carmine with a warm wine-like depth that shifts gently as the fine yarns catch the light. The composition is 70% wool with 20% polyester, 5% acrylic and 5% nylon, and the approximately 145cm width gives useful coverage. It is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic grading; after-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use this warm, wine-leaning red on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain where its subdued depth can anchor a room. Cream, tobacco, charcoal and dark timber accents will bring out the carmine tone without competing with its quiet woven texture.
