Chiraco Serandite

Pluma Fabric

Chiraco Serandite brings a dramatic botanical composition to a near-black ground, with layered leaves and fronds drawn in softly contrasting natural tones. Coral-pink accents prevent the dark colourway from feeling flat, while pale foliage gives the design definition.

About this fabric

The densely arranged foliage combines slender leaves, feathery stems and sweeping fronds in pale blue-grey, warm taupe, ivory and muted coral. Against the charcoal-black background, the fine linear details and overlapping forms create considerable visual depth, with the warm accents catching the eye across the design. Its substantial, cushion-led presentation makes this a strong choice for upholstery and decorative seating where the pattern can be seen at close range. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification, so suitability should be assessed against the intended project requirements.

How to use it

Pair the near-black ground with warm timber, aged brass and chalky neutrals, using the coral and taupe foliage as accent colours. It works especially well as a statement cushion or occasional chair against a quieter plain textile.

Use this richly illustrated near-black colourway to add depth to an accent chair, headboard or statement cushion.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
