Euphoria Velvet Secret Garden

About this fabric

This catalogued velvet is densely patterned with oversized ivory blooms, curling stems, exotic birds, mushrooms and decorative architectural forms. The near-black background gives the design striking depth, while the pale flowers and warm peach, copper and gold accents catch the eye across the surface. Green leaves and small pink details prevent the colourway from feeling flat, adding a vivid, theatrical quality to the dark base. Its velvet character and substantial-looking surface make it best suited to upholstery where the pattern can be enjoyed at close range.

How to use it

Use this black-and-ivory colourway on a statement armchair, headboard or occasional sofa, pairing it with warm timber, aged brass and quieter green or cream plains. Let the saturated dark ground anchor a room while the botanical details supply colour and movement.

A dramatic black velvet ground layered with ivory blooms, birds, foliage and warm ornamental accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Euphoria Velvet Secret Garden without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
