About this fabric

The dark indigo ground is crossed by broken ivory-grey lines that vary in thickness, creating a layered lattice rather than a precise geometric check. The uneven weave catches the light across the surface, bringing subtle flecks of grey and softened contrast to the saturated blue tone. At 380 gsm and 96 threads per cm, it has the substantial feel expected of a robust upholstery textile. The fabric has a 137 cm usable width, with a 20.5 cm vertical repeat and 17.5 cm horizontal repeat.

How to use it

Use Toma Indigo on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its cool blue-black depth can anchor a room. Balance the broken grid with warm timber, chalky neutrals and textured natural finishes rather than adding another strong pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
