Berland Fabric

Berland Firedearth has a warm, earthy brown ground crossed by regularly spaced taupe stripe bands. Each lighter band carries a fine diamond-and-chevron motif, giving the cloth a quietly graphic character.

About this fabric

The colourway combines cocoa, chestnut and muted taupe tones, creating a grounded look with more depth than a flat brown textile. Narrow vertical bands alternate between denser brown areas and lighter geometric stripes, while the small diamond motifs remain clearly legible across the swatch. Its woven surface appears tactile and structured, with the contrasting threads giving the stripes a softly varied finish. No composition, width, rub-test or performance-feature information is supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair this warm brown and taupe colourway with natural timber, tan leather and soft stone upholstery for an earthy scheme. Its vertical rhythm would also translate well to tailored curtains or a statement upholstered chair.

Use the warm brown ground and taupe geometric stripes to add structured texture to upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
