Bainbridge Loam

Bainbridge Fabric

Bainbridge Loam settles into a dark, earthy register, with charcoal-black fields crossed by softened taupe and brown checks. In the gathered folds, the plaid shifts between near-black depth and warmer loam-toned highlights.

About this fabric

The woven cloth combines a deep charcoal-brown ground with irregular plaid bands in muted taupe, soft brown and pale grey-beige. Its compact diagonal weave is clearly visible across the flatter areas, while the folds create subtle changes between shadowed black and warmer loam tones. The medium-scale check gives the surface a smart, tailored character without appearing stark. No composition, width, rub test or performance features are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Bainbridge Loam where a room needs a grounded, warm-dark accent: it would suit a tailored occasional chair, bench or full-length drapery alongside natural timber, aged leather and soft neutral walls.

A dark loam-toned plaid that brings quiet structure and warmth to upholstery or drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
