Sari Amethyst

Sari Fabric

Sari Amethyst has a deep aubergine-plum tone that shifts subtly between reddish highlights and near-black purple in the folds. Fine horizontal striations remain visible across the surface, giving the cloth a quietly tactile finish.

About this fabric

The image shows a fluid textile with closely spaced horizontal slub lines rather than a printed motif. Its dark plum colour gains depth where the fabric gathers, while raised folds catch a softer berry-purple light. The supple fall visible here makes it particularly convincing for curtains and softly gathered drapery. No composition, width or rub-test data has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Sari Amethyst to bring a rich, cocooning note to a room, pairing its aubergine depth with smoked timber, aged brass or warm neutral upholstery. Full-length curtains would allow the fine texture and tonal variation to show across the folds.

Use this deep plum shade for atmospheric curtains or softly gathered drapery with tonal furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
