Scribble Fabric

Scribble Amethyst is a deep, muted purple textile with a softly granular woven surface. Draped across the image, it shows gentle tonal variation as the folds move from plum shadow to subtly lighter amethyst.

About this fabric

The close-up reveals a fine, compact weave rather than a defined printed motif, giving the surface a quietly tactile appearance. Its cool amethyst tone is softened by charcoal-plum depth, so it reads as considered and atmospheric rather than bright or sugary. The fabric falls into fluid folds while retaining enough visible structure to make it suitable for both upholstery and drapery. No composition, width, rub-test or other performance specification has been supplied for this colourway, and no performance features are noted.

How to use it

Pair this shaded amethyst with warm stone, smoked oak and charcoal for a moody, tailored room, or use it against pale plaster tones so the purple depth becomes the focal colour. Its soft tonal shifts will work particularly well on relaxed curtains, cushions or a statement occasional chair.

Use this deep, muted amethyst tone to add quiet colour and tactile depth to seating, cushions or softly folded window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
