About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Smith Carnival is specified for both curtaining and upholstery and has a 137 cm width, making it practical for larger projects as well as decorative schemes. The 60,000+ Martindale rub test confirms it is robust enough for everyday seating use. In this colourway, the stripes read bold and saturated, with teal and leaf green lifted by coral and red accents, while the darker navy and black bands add contrast and depth. The overall effect is smart but playful, with a slightly retro energy that still feels clean and contemporary.

How to use it

Use Smith Carnival to bring colour and movement to a pair of lined curtains, or upholster a compact chair where the vertical stripes can make a strong statement. It works especially well with warm timber, matte black metal and plain cushions in navy or soft green.
