About this colour

This shade reads as a soft, sandy beige with a brown undertone, so it feels warmer and more grounded than a pale stone colour. In Acrylic Eggshell, Elite Emulsion or True Matt, it holds its character well and gives walls a calm, even presence. In north-facing light it can seem slightly cooler and more muted, bringing out the beige-grey side of the colour. In south-facing rooms it turns richer and more golden, especially beside timber, leather and woven upholstery in natural tones. It sits neatly with off-white woodwork, dark walnut, oak and muted green or terracotta textiles.

How to use it

Manilla suits living rooms, hallways and bedrooms where you want a warm backdrop that does not overpower furniture. It works particularly well with painted joinery, oak shelving and upholstery in linen, tan, olive or deep blue.
