About this fabric

This substantial 476gsm weave has a visibly tactile, fine textile texture that supports its upholstery classification. Narrow coloured lines gather into a vertical stripe arrangement, with indigo and teal carrying the strongest visual weight against the taupe-grey ground and slim red and white accents sharpening the design. The stripe layout has a 27.7cm horizontal repeat and a 0.4cm vertical repeat, creating a consistent rhythm across the 139cm usable width. Its neutral base reads softly rather than starkly, allowing the cooler blues to remain prominent without making the overall colourway feel overly bright.

How to use it

Use Imani Indigo/Red on a statement armchair, dining seat or sofa where the taupe-grey ground can settle into a neutral scheme while the indigo and teal stripes add cool definition. Echo the narrow red accents sparingly in cushions or small decorative details rather than matching them heavily.
