About this fabric

At 479gsm, this is a substantial woven fabric well suited to upholstery, with a usable width of 136cm. The stripe arrangement combines broad pale linen bands with fine cream, sage-olive and dusty mauve lines, creating a quiet rhythm rather than a high-contrast graphic effect. The weave has a dry, lightly slubbed appearance, while the heathered beige ground keeps the cooler mauve and sage accents softened. The pattern repeat is 0cm vertically and 11cm horizontally, and the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Pair this muted linen, sage and dusty mauve palette with chalky neutrals, weathered timber or soft olive accents. Its vertical striping would bring understated structure to an armchair, headboard or tailored sofa in a relaxed interior.

Use this substantial striped weave on upholstery where its quiet linen ground and muted sage and mauve accents can add gentle colour without overpowering the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Sackville Stripe Heather/Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
