Aztec Charcoal

Origins FabricCCF0470-01

Aztec Charcoal presents a cool, deep charcoal ground overlaid with closely packed pale woven marks. The compact geometric layout reads as a textured grid, with the light threads catching against the darker base.

About this fabric

Woven at 306gsm, Aztec Charcoal has a substantial mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. Its small-scale pattern is formed from short horizontal and vertical bars, creating an interlocking, basket-like geometry in charcoal and light grey. The vertical repeat is 4.3cm and the horizontal repeat is 4.1cm, keeping the design visually consistent across the cloth. It is supplied at a 139cm usable width, with a standard length of 40m.

How to use it

The cool charcoal tone works well on tailored seating, occasional chairs or structured curtains, especially alongside pale timber, ivory upholstery and brushed metal accents.

Use this cool charcoal colourway to bring crisp, graphic texture to upholstery, cushions or structured window treatments.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aztec Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
