Richmond Spice

Richmond FabricCCF0139-05

Richmond Spice brings an abundant floral arrangement to a warm ivory ground, with coral, terracotta and taupe flowers clearly defined across the woven surface. Its softly weathered colour balance feels warm and layered rather than brightly saturated.

About this fabric

The 406 gsm weight gives this fabric a substantial feel suited to upholstery, while the fine visible weave adds quiet texture behind the printed-looking floral detail. Large open blooms, smaller flower heads and branching leaves repeat across the design in coral pink, muted terracotta, soft taupe and ivory. With a 48 cm vertical repeat and 43 cm horizontal repeat, the pattern has a generous scale that will need thoughtful placement on upholstered pieces. The fabric has a 137 cm usable width and is supplied in a standard 40 m length.

How to use it

Use Richmond Spice on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its warm ivory base can balance the coral and terracotta flowers. Echo the taupe leaves with natural wood, oatmeal textiles or softly aged metal for a cohesive scheme.

The warm ivory ground and coral, terracotta and taupe flowers bring layered colour to classic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
