About this fabric

This 306gsm woven fabric is built around alternating vertical stripes: deep charcoal-black lines, mid-grey accents and broad pale stone sections with a subtly warm cast. The fine surface texture softens the contrast slightly, allowing the darkest stripes to read as graphic rather than glossy. With a 23.7cm horizontal pattern repeat and no vertical repeat, the stripe sequence can be planned consistently across the 137cm usable width. Its substantial mid-weight handle makes it suitable for both upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use Wensley Charcoal on a tailored chair, headboard or clean-lined curtain where its charcoal bands can create height and definition. Pair the cool dark stripes with pale stone upholstery, warm grey walls or blackened metal accents to keep the scheme composed rather than stark.

The 306gsm woven construction suits tailored upholstery and structured drapery, while the charcoal and stone stripes add strong vertical definition.
