About this fabric

The beige ground has a softly textured, linen-like appearance, bringing a warm neutral base behind the cool denim-blue flowers. Large blooms are built from pale blue centres and darker blue scalloped edges, while fine outlined leaves and stems fill the open spaces. At 406 gsm and 137 cm usable width, it has the substance for upholstery. The 48 cm vertical and 43 cm horizontal repeat gives the floral layout a clear, generous scale across a chair, headboard or sofa.

How to use it

Use Richmond Denim on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool blue flowers can sit against warm ivory, taupe or natural timber. The muted denim tone gives a traditional floral a calmer, more relaxed presence than a highly saturated blue.

The substantial 406 gsm construction suits upholstered seating, while the muted denim and beige palette keeps the floral design composed.
