Conway Blue is a softly muted blue with a cool, slate-like cast and a fine speckled linen texture. The surface reads calm and restrained, with just enough variation to keep the colour feeling alive.

About this fabric

This plain-woven fabric is composed of 49% viscose, 45% linen and 6% polyester, giving Conway Blue a refined matte look with gentle tonal movement across the surface. At approximately 138cm wide and with no repeat, it is an easy cloth to use for tailored upholstery or elegant curtains and blinds. The visible weave has a small, compact grain that supports the cool blue-grey shade and makes the colour feel slightly dusty rather than bright. It has a composed, understated presence that suits rooms needing colour without strong contrast.

How to use it

Use this shade on a sofa, bench or headboard where its cool blue tone can sit comfortably against oak, pale plaster and chalky neutrals. It also makes a smart drapery choice in rooms that benefit from a quietly polished, slightly weathered finish.

A quietly tailored blue with a linen-rich texture that works neatly across upholstery and soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
