About this fabric

This colourway of Medora by Colefax and Fowler is a woven fabric with a compact repeat of approximately V 3cm / H 2cm and a width of about 142cm. The cloth is made from 40% viscose, 19% acrylic, 16% cotton, 11% linen, 10% wool and 4% polyester, which gives the surface a mixed, gently tactile look. In Newland Olive, the pattern sits in muted moss and olive tones against a pale cream-beige ground, so the design feels earthy rather than bright. The weave has a crisp, lightly textural finish that suits the restrained geometry of the motif. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Newland Olive where you want a grounded green that still feels refined, especially with oak, aged brass or chalky neutrals. Its small-scale pattern works neatly on an occasional chair, blind or pelmet, and the soft olive tone keeps the room calm.

A restrained olive weave that adds texture without overpowering a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
