About this fabric

This colourway reads as a cool, softened teal rather than a bright blue-green, with the lighter ground keeping the pattern airy and readable. The design is woven in a compact repeat, measuring approximately V 3cm / H 2cm, and the fabric has a usable width of about 142cm. Its composition of 40% viscose, 19% acrylic, 16% cotton, 11% linen, 10% wool and 4% polyester gives it a mixed-fibre handle that feels structured yet not stiff. The small-scale motif and gently slubbed surface make it well suited to both upholstery and curtains where a smart, understated pattern is wanted.

How to use it

Use Newland Teal on a tailored armchair, blind, or cushion to bring in colour without overwhelming a room. It works especially well with chalky neutrals, weathered wood, and brushed brass, where the cooler teal tones can stand out cleanly.

Pair with pale oak and linen for a refined, easygoing scheme.
