Draycott Linen
Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric
Draycott Linen shows a softly faded damask motif with a linen-look ground and gently raised patterning. In this pale taupe colourway, the design reads warm, quiet and lightly vintage.

About this fabric
Draycott Linen from Fryett's Fabrics is a 140cm-wide fabric with a 23.5cm vertical repeat and 17cm horizontal repeat, woven in 66% polyester, 19% linen and 15% cotton. The surface has a dry, natural-looking texture that keeps the ornate damask from feeling heavy, while the pattern sits in a muted beige-taupe tone against a lighter ground. In this colourway, the motif has a softened, chalky quality rather than a sharp contrast, so the repeat feels elegant and understated. The composition and woven handle make it a practical decorative fabric for interiors that need a tailored look without too much shine.
How to use it
Use this taupe damask on dining chairs, accent cushions or relaxed curtains where its subdued contrast can sit comfortably with oak, putty and warm white finishes. It also works well in traditionally styled rooms that need pattern without strong colour.
A gentle taupe damask that brings quiet pattern and tailored warmth to both seating and curtains.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Draycott Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
