About this fabric

This colourway has a dusky purple-brown cast, with fine woven texture visible across the surface rather than any printed motif. The shade sits in a muted grape range, so it feels richer and moodier than a simple lilac but less saturated than a true aubergine. Made from 80% polyester and 20% cotton, it offers a practical blend for everyday furnishing, and the 140cm width and 0cm pattern repeat make it straightforward to cut and match. The overall effect is smart and calm, with the weave catching the light just enough to show subtle tonal shifts.

How to use it

Use it to add depth to a neutral room, where the grape-plum tone can sit against stone, taupe or soft grey upholstery. It also works well as a grounded curtain colour in spaces that need a little richness without a glossy finish.

A refined dusky purple that works well on tailored upholstery or simple curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
