About this fabric

Adler Harlequin from Porter & Stone’s What's New collection is a fabric with a 145cm width and a 38.6cm vertical repeat by 35.5cm across, made from 69% polyester, 18% cotton and 13% viscose. The swatch shows a compact geometric layout of blocks, arcs and small oval forms, with deep navy panels set against warm rust, mustard, beige and grey areas. The colourway feels mid-toned and balanced rather than bright, with the darker navy giving the pattern definition while the warmer notes keep it approachable. Its woven texture is visible in the close-up, adding a slightly tactile, upholstery-friendly finish. Care instructions are NQT1<.

How to use it

This colourway works well on a modern accent chair, ottoman or bench where the navy ground and warm accents can contrast against plain painted walls or timber. Pair it with rust, ochre or stone accessories to echo the palette without overwhelming the room.

Use on statement seating or a tailored occasional chair to let the crisp geometric repeat do the work.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
