Samburu Harissa

Mirador Upholstery FabricHAF0389-02

Samburu Harissa reads as a warm, softly muted terracotta with the depth of cinnamon and rust. Its closely spaced chevron lines create a refined woven surface that changes subtly as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

This substantial 570gsm textile combines a warm harissa tone with a fine, repeating chevron structure, giving the surface quiet geometric definition rather than a bold graphic effect. At 110 threads per centimetre, the weave appears especially close and detailed in the swatch, with delicate tonal shifts across the terracotta ground. The pattern has a 10.3cm horizontal repeat and no vertical repeat, so the narrow zigzag rhythm runs consistently across the cloth. It has a 136cm usable width and a standard length of 40m, providing clear practical specifications for upholstery planning.

How to use it

Use Samburu Harissa to bring a grounded, warm terracotta note to a tailored armchair, sofa or ottoman. Its small chevron texture works especially well with natural timber, cream upholstery companions and deeper rust or brown accents without overwhelming the room.

A substantial terracotta upholstery weave with a finely scaled chevron texture for tailored seating and cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Samburu Harissa without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
