About this fabric

This patterned fabric combines 100% polyester with a 147 cm usable width and a substantial 40,000 Martindale, making it suitable for severe contract use. The design repeats at 72 cm horizontally and 64 cm vertically, and the motif reads as stacked rectangular bars that step across the cloth in a regular grid. In this Riviera colourway, the dark inky blue grounds the pattern while the pale beige and stone threads lift it, giving the fabric a cool, restrained contrast rather than a bright one. The surface has a woven, textural look that softens the geometry and adds movement as the light catches the alternating bands. It is treatable for FR drapery and upholstery, with better cotton content and colour fastness rated 5.

How to use it

Use this colourway on statement seating, banquette panels or upholstered headboards where the blue-and-sand contrast can read clearly. It also works well in blinds or full-height drapery when paired with chalky neutrals, smoke grey and natural oak.

Pair with plain linens and warm timber to balance the crisp blue-and-sand rhythm.
