Chelsea Clove

Chelsea Ii Fabric

Chelsea Clove is a deep, warm brown textile with the earthy character of clove spice. Its close plain weave is enlivened by faint vertical texture and understated tonal variation across the surface.

About this fabric

The rich brown tone reads warm and grounded, while slightly lighter and darker threads create gentle depth rather than a flat block of colour. A fine, almost linear weave is visible across the swatch, giving the cloth a quietly tactile appearance. The supplied specification lists no performance features for this fabric, so its suitability here is judged from the visibly dense woven construction.

How to use it

Use Chelsea Clove on a classic armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm brown depth can anchor cream, tobacco, rust and muted green furnishings. The restrained surface also works well with timber and other natural-toned materials.

A deep, warm brown plain weave that brings quiet depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
