Little Greene

Masquerade

Reds and Pinks Paint

Masquerade is a softened pink-beige from Little Greene, with enough red in it to stay recognisably in the Reds and Pinks family. It reads as a warm, muted wall colour rather than a bright pink.

About this colour

This shade sits between blush and biscuit, with a dusted warmth that makes it feel settled rather than sweet. Its #D2B6A0 value gives it a pale, earthy depth that takes the edge off white rooms without darkening them much. In north-facing light it will read quieter and slightly more beige, with the pink receding; in south-facing rooms the warmer notes come forward and it feels fuller and rosier. Beside pale oak, walnut, linen and tobacco leather it looks calm and tailored, and it also suits painted woodwork in a deeper cream or soft brown-pink. On walls it reflects light gently, keeping a room open while still giving it warmth.

How to use it

Masquerade works well in bedrooms, sitting rooms and dressing rooms where a warm, understated colour is wanted on the walls. It pairs neatly with natural woodwork, muted velvet, and upholstered pieces in sage, taupe, deep brown or chalky ivory.
