Rosehip Forest

Little Book of Morris Fabrics FabricMOF0061-07

Rosehip Forest pairs a warm cream ground with closely spaced sage-green leafy trails, creating a light, fresh impression across the swatch. The small botanical pattern has a gentle, hand-drawn quality and remains visually airy despite its dense repeat.

About this fabric

This 300 gsm fabric has a 137 cm usable width, making it a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. Fine green stems and pointed leaves form a compact trailing design, with the 34 cm vertical and horizontal repeat keeping the pattern rhythm consistent. The muted sage tone is softened by the creamy background rather than appearing sharp or saturated, while the visible textile surface gives the colour a subtly tactile finish. It is supplied in a standard 60 m length and has 49 threads per centimetre.

How to use it

Use Rosehip Forest to brighten a relaxed reading chair, window seat or pair of curtains, where its sage foliage can sit comfortably with warm whites, natural timber and other quiet neutrals. The cream ground keeps the pattern gentle while the green leaves add definition without becoming dominant.

Use the soft sage-and-cream foliage to bring a fresh, quietly traditional note to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
