Willow Bough Crimson/Manilla

About this fabric

The colourway is led by a rich crimson red, with manilla foliage and darker linear stems giving the design definition without making it appear stark. Its tightly packed leafy motif has a small 42cm vertical repeat and 22cm horizontal repeat, creating an almost continuous field across the visible surface. At 328gsm, the fabric has a substantial textile presence, while the fine surface texture catches the light gently across the red ground. The 137cm usable width and 127 threads per centimetre provide useful construction detail for planning upholstery or window treatments.

How to use it

Use this warm crimson colourway on a reading chair, bench or full-length curtains, balancing its dense botanical surface with oatmeal, aged cream and dark timber.

Pair the deep crimson ground with warm neutrals, aged wood and brass for a richly layered interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
