About this fabric

The design is strongly vertical, with slim indigo lines alternating with pale linen-coloured channels and small angular, leaf-like motifs. This colourway reads cool and deep rather than bright, while the light ground keeps the close-set pattern crisp and defined. At 546gsm and 19.5 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial, densely woven presence suited to upholstery. It has a 142cm usable width, a 7.5cm vertical repeat and an 11.5cm horizontal repeat, with a standard length of 60m.

How to use it

Use this cool indigo-and-linen stripe on a tailored chair, bench or sofa, where the narrow vertical rhythm can emphasise clean lines. Pair it with pale natural finishes to echo the linen ground, or use deep blue accents to draw out the indigo depth.

The substantial 546gsm cloth suits tailored upholstery where its cool indigo-and-linen stripe can read clearly.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
