Eye Bright Indigo

Melsetter Fabric & Weaves FabricMOF0115-01

Eye Bright Indigo combines a deep, cool indigo ground with rows of tiny woven motifs in muted gold, ivory and lighter blue. The dense pattern reads as finely detailed rather than bold from a distance.

About this fabric

This 230gsm fabric has a compact woven surface, with small botanical and geometric marks arranged in a closely repeated design. Its 16cm vertical and 23cm horizontal repeat maintains an even, rhythmic appearance across the 138cm usable width. Gold and ivory accents punctuate the indigo ground, giving the blue depth without losing its cool character. With 36.2 threads per cm and a standard length of 60 metres, it is a versatile mid-weight option for upholstery and drapery.

How to use it

Use the deep indigo as a grounding tone on a tailored occasional chair, bench or roman blind, then echo the small gold details with aged brass or warm timber. Its finely spaced pattern also works well as curtains where the blue field can read as a richly textured backdrop.

The cool indigo ground and tightly spaced gold, ivory and blue motifs suit tailored upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
