Mistletoe Embroidery Artichoke

Melsetter Fabric & Weaves FabricMOF0120-01

Mistletoe Embroidery Artichoke combines a warm cream ground with a closely spaced trail of muted artichoke-green leaves and curling stems. The low-contrast colour pairing gives the botanical design a softly aged, quietly decorative character.

About this fabric

This substantial 484gsm textile is suited to upholstery, with 78 threads per cm giving the ground a densely woven appearance. Small leafy sprigs and fine curling tendrils form an even pattern, while the artichoke shade shifts gently between olive and softened sage as the light moves across the surface. The design repeats every 31cm vertically and 33cm horizontally, keeping the motif rhythm compact on a chair, headboard or footstool. With a usable width of 133.5cm and a standard length of 40m, it is practical for coordinated upholstery projects.

How to use it

Pair this muted artichoke colourway with natural oak, aged brass and warm ivory upholstery piping. Its gentle green foliage works especially well on occasional chairs, dining seats or a relaxed country-style headboard.

Use the warm cream ground and muted artichoke foliage to bring gentle botanical detail to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mistletoe Embroidery Artichoke without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
